Discover the enormous garden Brisbane built on an old railway yard.
Roma Street Parkland opened in 2001 after the former railway yards were transformed into 16 hectares of gardens, lawns and walking paths. The site's steep landscape carries traces of that railway history: huge quantities of earth were once removed here to level the yards.
