Walk across the river on one of Brisbane's busiest pedestrian links.
The Goodwill Bridge curves across the Brisbane River between South Bank and the edge of the CBD, carrying walkers, runners and cyclists between the two sides of the city. Opened in 2001, it became part of a growing network that made Brisbane's river increasingly easy to cross without a car.
Take your time rather than treating it simply as a shortcut. From the bridge you get open views along the river and a different perspective on the city skyline, the Kangaroo Point cliffs and South Bank.
