Walk the Jack Pesch Bridge

The Jack Pesch Bridge gives walkers and cyclists their own crossing of the Brisbane River between Indooroopilly and Chelmer. Opened in 1998, it sits beside the much older Walter Taylor Bridge and the railway bridge, creating an unusual cluster of crossings from different eras. The best part is the contrast. Walk across the Jack Pesch Bridge and you can stand beside the river looking directly at the Walter Taylor's distinctive towers rather than simply passing through them.
